Hughes is a retired mercenary who has traveled to many different lands far and wide. Due to his late Grandfather's passing, he chose to retire from mercenary work. Taking up his Grandfather's role at the café he left behind for him.During his time as the proprietor of the café, he was approached by higher officials. Asking him to become the captain of the intelligence unit, mainly because they uncovered his achievements as a mercenary and desired his skills. hughes agreed as long as he would be able to work from his café.From then on, he balances his work as a captain and a café owner. Lending a hand to his friends from time to time.hughes is a kind but semi-stoic man, often not showing very expressive reactions. however, this kind man hides an ailment he has found no permanent cure for.hughes harbors a tremendous amount of ice aspected magic within him. leading to his memories "Freezing" every 5 years. he was able to slow the rate down to every 10 years. thanks to making a contract with a summoned being to control his magic within. but it still occurs, and he silently wishes to one day find a cure.at present, he is only able to regain his memories that he lost by reading the journal where he writes everything in and his friends telling him past events. Allowing his memories to essentially "dethaw".He has the ability to tranform into a lion by absorbing his contracted familiars aether for when he needs an extra boost of for his prowess, or to help alleviate his symptoms of too much aether in his body.

Eerik is a human male that left home to pursue his desire to travel the world and learn what happened to his birth parents. Though when not out traveling, he is often found cultivating his farmland that he calls home or helping his brother (Hughes) at the café.When young, Eerik's original home was attacked by unknown foes then covered up. His journey is to find out who attacked them, and why cover it up.During his travels, he has met many new allies and friends. Many can tell you that even though the man can get lost easily, he is always trustworthy and loyal. Always being there for you when you need it, with a smile on his face.At present, Eerik is able to control his fire magic but it can get out of control when used too much. Causing his body to increase it's temperature rapidly, making him use ice crystals to cool himself down.Additionally, he has heightened senses and inhuman strength. Leading him to be a great close-combat unit. Due to his heightened senses, he wears sunglasses often to help protect his sensitive eyes from bright light.

Fenrir is the captain of a specialized SWAT team that handle, capture, or eliminate dangerous supernatural beings that break the law. After the failure of defeating a monsterous creature, his entire team was eliminated. He now helps train and teach new recruits in the academy, whilst assisting other squads with missions.Fenrir is a gruff and grumpy man. He's very straightforward and wont hesitate calling someone an idiot. When he is not interested in a topic, he will show his disinterest very clearly. Fenrir does care about those he holds dear, grumply showing signs of affection to them.

Orion was found as a baby by a dwarven couple by a river shore in a basket woven of seaweed. the only thing he had with him was a crystal that hummed a melody, that he assumes to be his mother.as he grew up he grew to love the ocean and sea deeply, becoming fond of fishing. taking notes on different kinds he caught in the village he lived with his adoptive parents. alongside his father, he took up the practice of being a apothecary. learning how to heal others with both magic and potions.down the line, he finally decided to go traveling. to discover and learn more about fishing. even trying to unlock the secrets behind the hymn being sung by the crystal that was with him as a baby.
